** NOW IN STOCK AND SHIPPING !!
GruvenParts.com is happy to announce these BARBED billet heater core tees for GM full size SUV's. Yes, they are finally now in stock !!
STOP USING CHEAP PLASTIC TEES !!! THEY BREAK AND LEAVE YOU STRANDED !!
As many have already found out the hard way, the cheap GM plastic coolant tee fittings for the heater core are prone to breaking at the worst possible times. Don't risk ruining your expensive motor due to a simple plastic coolant fitting failure ! Once the plastic tee breaks (and it WILL break, just search the forums), you have about 1 minute to pull over, stop the motor, and start walking. If you happen to be towing, up a steep grade, you probably wont be able to save the motor from becoming an expensive paper weight. Your coolant system is only as strong as its weakest link, and this plastic heater core tee has definitely proven itself to be the weakest link !
GruvenParts billet heater core tees solve this problem entirely. These fully barbed precision CNC machined from solid 6061-T651 aircraft grade aluminum and TIG welded by our licensed A&P mechanics in our high tech Atlanta machining center. We then pressure check each fitting to ensure the integrity of the weld. Each tee includes 2 short pieces of HPS high performance silicone hoses as well as 4 high quality stainless steel worm screw clamps. The billet tee is installed using the supplied silicone hoses and clamps and fits over the existing factory hard line connections with no modifications needed. You could probably drive the truck over this fitting and not hurt it, but we suggest you do that with the plastic tee and install ours!
These barbed billet tees are sold individually (2 may be required for SUV's with rear heat, 1 may be required for the pick ups without rear heat). Please verify your part number BEFORE ordering. Within this same coolant section of our website, we do also offer the single outlet billet junctions, so if you have a pick up truck you may need that instead !
This billet tee is intended to replace the crack prone factory plastic heater core connections on the following GM vehicles :
OEM P/N 15055342 (15-05-53-42), 15055343 (15-05-53-43), 19130058 (19-13-00-58), 19257, 19257317 (19-25-73-17), 19257318 (19-25-73-18), 800-414
2000-2014 Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, Yukon XL, 1500, 2500, 3500
2002-2014 Denali, Escalade, Escalade ESV, and SOME (not all) Avalanche, Sierra, Silverado, 1500, 2500, 3500
Possibly others - please check the part number matches what is on your vehicle - your GM dealer will be only too happy to provide you with the correct part number for your vehicle based on your VIN #. It will give them something to do while they sell other people cheap plastic failure prone parts !

2 weeks ago I literally had that "one minute" to pull over with a heater hose broken off of one of "those" tees. It was the black one as shown In many videos.
The videos also shows that the tees will break and for no reason (cuz they're plastic!!) I had Gruven on my mind but only for the brass seat repair metal gears. Only a #gruvenpart showed me about the metal replacement tees. Even using HPS hoses is always a plus as I had already ordered the HPS hoses I need to replace AlL of the heater hose system. All installed and with no leaks and piece of mind!!

I got very lucky since the original OEM plastic inlet tee broke just as I was parking in a parking lot to pick up a pizza. I did some research and discovered that this is a common failure point in these GM trucks. Suggestions on various forums led me to Gruven and I'm very glad that they did!
After replacing the broken plastic inlet tee with this aluminum tee kit (which includes hose and screw clamps) and being satisfied with the results, I decided to purchase another for the other original outlet tee. With 210K miles on my 2004 Tahoe, I can rest assured that these tees will give me the resilience to go hundreds of thousands more miles!

Installed these in an hour in my '12 Yukon XL Denali. I did it as a preventative measure at 105K miles, as the OEM parts have a limited lifespan. Comes with enough hose to complete the install using the existing heater hoses, along with the clamps. That said, I replaced the heater hoses in mine at the same time.

Easy to install--added peace of mind --no worries about the plastic tees braking any longer!! I would recommend these to everyone that owns any gm vehicle to get these!!

These are a great product I put them on a 2007 Cadillac Escalade. I do a lot of towing with a boat in the mountains. And I did not want the or hose connections to break which is very common on these cars. It took me about 4 hours. The old T's were a b**** to get off. I eventually ended up breaking the snaps to get them off. Pushing the two tabs on the back of the fittings did not work. It's a challenge working over the top of the engine to get them on. Things are very tight. I'm glad I'll never have to mess with these T's again. Overall a very well-made product. Great idea.
