As many of you have found out, when lowering your suspension, camber and toe become misaligned which leads to expensive tire wear and poor handling. Since the OEM has made no provisions for lowering the vehicle, there is no adjustment that can be made to bring the wheels back into alignment on a lowered vehicle. The GruvenParts.com adjustable upper front control arms allow you to fully adjust both camber and toe for a perfect alignment regardless of suspension drop.
Just like the GruvenParts.com popular TT/R32 rear adjustable control arms, we designed these based on years of fabricating rock crawler suspension systems for racers and weekend warriors alike. They are made from a special aircraft grade of 4130 chrominum-molybdenum alloy and then powder coated in high gloss black for maximum durability. The racing heim joints are CAD plated, PTFE lined, and come standard with racing grade dust boots all around. Finally, all parts are fully rebuildable so there would be no need to buy a whole new set if a heim joint did wear out. As an added bonus, the pins and cap bolts are all stainless steel.
Another added bonus of the GruvenParts.com control arms : Ours wont hit each other at full turning lock like some of the other versions out there do. We have specially designed these control arms to prevent the two outboard heim joints from contacting one another during full turning lock, which prevents expensive damage that is so common on the competitor versions. This was a feature you asked for and we have delivered.

** Please note – if you lack the tools or experience to perform such an installation, DON’T. Have a reputable shop perform the work for you. The car will need a front alignment after installation anyways, so it makes sense to let a pro handle the installation. Always ensure at least 3 threads on the heim joints are fully engaged into the center section body after alignment has been made.**
